![]() ![]() It should have some recent date from October or November 2020. Then scroll down to Utilities and download the thing there. Back on that support page, go through Driver & Tools -> Driver & Tools -> select your OS (Windows 10 64bit for me). \As always I apologize if my message is quite unefficient, but my grammar and vocabulary is really poor. Update the ASUS System Control Interface. IMPORTANT: If you have better ideas to keep the battery healthy and push it's lifespan to the max, please let me know. What do you think is the best way to maximize the lifespan of my battery?:Ī) Turning on "Maximum lifespan mode" and keep it on AC to save cycles but make the battery suffer from the heat it generates.ī) Choosing either "Maximum lifespan mode" or "Balanced mode" then unplugging it from the wall after reaching the limit, that so I can keep low temps but sacrificing my battery cycles.Ĭ) Just turn off this software and take care of the battery manually.? On AC instead, always in silent mode, the temperature ranges from 55° - 85☌ which seems to be a bit hot when on heavy loads. On battery in silent for example the temperature of my laptop ranges from 35☌ to 60☌ (quite healthy in my opinion), the downside is that it's discharging, making me use cycles. What's not convincing me is the heat generated when connected to wall and from what I've heard, heat is a no-no for battery, not good at all. It is true that this can limit the charging to 60% (and even 80% with "Balanced mode") and then if I'm not wrong, my laptop should be getting power directly from the AC. I'd like to ask opinions if it's worth using "Maximum lifespan mode" in my G14 2022 (GA402RJ.312)? ![]() Greetings, so I discovered this software in My Asus program, capable of maximizing the battery lifespan of our laptop. ![]()
